I found the ad for their kennel on puppyfind and messaged them on Facebook. I missed out on the litter of puppies that round but a few months later was able to put the deposit down for my beautiful, healthy American Eskimo girl. Alex sent me updates on her the whole 8 weeks I was waiting to pick her up with pictures and videos. Picking her up was a great experience as well got to talk a little about care for her and food to start her on. I could tell she was a very happy puppy and was treated very well. Got vet visit verification, akc papers, and a list of the shots she has had. This kennel is amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Alex and Ashely, Koda is so perfect we love her so much! :)

Alex was great! He sent pics and videos and connected through Facebook so we could watch our puppy grow before he was old enough to go get him. He answered my questions and put my mind at ease throughout the process. He was already responsive to his name by the time we got him and he has been a great addition to our family! I had an excellent experience working with Alex and Ashley. Without hesitation I would recommend them to anyone interested in getting a new puppy. Jax, our eskinu puppy, is absolutely perfect. Alex sent me pictures and updates on the puppies' development regularly, he answered all my questions thoughtfully and helped me to pick out the perfect dog for my family. Although DJ Kennels offers shipping, I chose to pick up the pup so I could meet his parents--both canine and human--and I was very happy that I did. Alex and Ashley were warm and welcoming, their facilities were very nice and the care they give their dogs is outstanding. All their dogs were happy, healthy, friendly, and beautiful. Jax has been a wonderful addition to our family. He is handsome, smart and such a sweetheart even our veterinarian offered to babysit him if we ever needed it. There is always concerns when you buy something on line and do not have access to to the product before you pay for it. This is even more so if you are buying an animal. I have to say that we were very pleased with the breeder we got our puppy from. He made all the arrangements for the transport to us by air cargo, and when we got to the airport to get our puppy it was just a matter of presenting ID and receiving our dog. The entire event was positive and we are very pleased with the quality of animal we were able to get, and the follow through from the breeder to ensure we were content with everything. I would recommend this individual and his dogs to anyone looking for this breed of dog. He is doing well socializing with our other dogs and is very loving and fun. Kudos to the breeder for the quality he puts into breeding good dogs

Alex is a superior breeder, both with bloodlines and with service. Excellent communication, updates and pictures. It was almost like being there to watch the birth and early development of the puppy. My puppy has been extremely well adjusted and happy from the moment we picked him up from the airport. He is absolutely beautiful, very smart, extremely playfull, loving, sweet, affectionate, full of zest and humor, and has loads of personality. He gets along fabulously with my other, older dog and my 2 cats, and with company. In other words, this puppy is everything and more that a person could want in an Eskie, and Alex is everything and more that a person could want in a breeder.

Our experience with Alex and DJ Kennels was most delightful and smooth flowing. Alex’s emails, phone contacts and photo updates facilitated communication with respect to questions regarding the purchase of our new little Eskie as well as updates on his maturation. Alex was also quite helpful in answering any questions we had regarding puppy basics. On the day of his travel to us, our little boy arrived safe and in excellent condition. He is now an adorable and lovable addition to our family which includes a 14 y/o female Eskie and 2 y/o tuxedo male cat. Thank you Alex for making it possible for us to add another four-legged Angel to our family!

When buying a puppy I know how important a good breeder is. I found Alex online and expressed interest in one of his puppies. We talked on the phone, he was very helpful in answering my questions, and though the puppy was already old enough to ship, I asked him if he'd consider keeping him for another month so that I could pick him up rather than fly him to me. Alex was happy to accomodate that and sent me occasional pictures/updates. I was concerned about flying him in the cabin with me under the seat - would he whine, bark, try to get out of the carrier, etc. - for no reason. I had two flights with a 45 minute connect and he didn't make a sound. He's been on the scene for three weeks now and we're doing great. He's healthy, energetic, playful,smart and sociable -everything an American Eskimo should be. Based on my experience, I definitely recommend Alex as a reputable, caring, and accomodating breeder.

I wanted to take a minute and say thank you to Ashley and Alex for making these long eight weeks of waiting to get my American Eskimo puppy easier! They were so awesome! They sent me pictures and videos every week of how my little girl was growing and it made the wait a little more bearable. I purchased Luna from Alex in 2012. She arrived January 29, 2013 in perfect health. I highly recommend DJ Kennels to anyone interested in an Eskie pup. I was 60 years old when I made the purchase. She is the sweetest, smartest little girl and a perfect companion pet. I am in love with this breed and DJ Kennels knows the Eskie breed well.
